After training as an actuary with BWV, Munich-born Sascha Sönning started his management career in 1997 in the position of Regional Manager with WWK in Weilheim.
In 1998, Sascha Sönning was appointed to the position of Branch Manager and two years later to the position of Regional Director at WWK Weilheim.
In 2005, he was also appointed to the role of Manager of Head Office Branch in Munich.
From 2006 to 2009 he held the role of State Director in Munich and Authorised Signatory at 1:1 Assekuranzservice AG.
From 2009 to 2012 as a member of the Board of Directors at SDV AG in Augsburg, he helped develop the company’s business.
From September 2016 to 2017, Sascha Sönning was the Board Representative for Sales at 1:1 AG.
From January 2018 to December 2019, Mr Sönning held the position of General Representative in charge of Sales at 1:1 AG.
On 1 January 2020, Sascha Sönning was made a member of the Board of Directors of 1:1 Assekuranzservice AG where he is responsible for Sales.
On 15 July 2022, Sascha Sönning was appointed to the Board of Directors of Deutsche PensionsManagement AG.
